Tonight's Moon, from here
The phase is the same for everyone. The sky is not: when the Moon rises, in which direction and how high it climbs depend on where you are.
- A painted moon-dial shows the Moon's path across your sky, from moonrise to moonset, at its true height.
- Rises, highest, sets with the direction: «rises east-northeast».
- Where to look now «it is south, 60° above the horizon».
- The crescent drawn as you see it from your place, upside down in the southern hemisphere.
Phases, calendar and alerts
- Phase percentage lit and day of the cycle.
- The next four phases with date and time in your place's time zone.
- Calendar the Moon of every day, with its moonrise and moonset.
- Alerts at the exact moment of a phase, and «Full Moon rising» 10 minutes before, with the direction.
Widgets and Apple Watch
Tonight's Moon on the Home Screen and on the Lock Screen, and on your wrist: an Apple Watch app and complications for the watch face. All included.
No account
- Calculated on your iPhone with Jean Meeus's astronomical algorithms: phases and times work offline.
